4. Textile properties of common textile fibers:

Wool: It has good moisture absorption, elasticity and wearing performance, but is not resistant to insect damage. It is suitable for acidic and metal-bonded dyes.

② Silk: It has good moisture absorption, breathability, luster and wearing performance, and is suitable for acidic and direct dyes.

③ Cotton: Breathable, moisture-absorbent, good wearing performance, resistant to insect damage, suitable for direct reduction of azo, alkaline media, vulcanization, and reactive dyes.

④ Viscose fiber: It has good moisture absorption and air permeability, bright colors, wide raw material sources, low cost, properties close to natural fibers, and is suitable for the same dyes as cotton.

⑤ Polyester: The fabric is firm, smooth, has good shape retention, is wear-resistant, has stable dimensions, is easy to wash and dries quickly, and is suitable for disperse dyes, diazo disperse dyes, and soluble VAT dyes.

⑥ Nylon: It has particularly good wear resistance, poor air permeability, and is suitable for acid dyes and disperse dyes.

⑦ Acrylic: Good fluffiness, with a fur-like feel, suitable for disperse dyes and cationic dyes.
